After I ran a few errands on Saturday morning, the snow that was forecasted started up around 1pm or so. I watched some old episodes of Masterpiece Theatre's Sherlock on my pc and stitched away on Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow.
The framing is completed and I started right away on Block 11. I decided to tackle this block first because it is totally filled with stitching and I was afraid I would get bogged down/bored by all that black.
I decided to work down in columns of 10 which doesn't make it seem so overwhelming. Unfortunately, I realized after I got to the bottom that I had forgotten to mark out the framed row so I'm now one over than I should be.
However I was not ripping out all of that stitching so I will just have to fudge the other side and hope it looks balanced!

I'm sure you will find a way. No way would I have done all that black frogging!!
It's a pretty block, but that is a lot of stitches. Shoot!! Don't you hate that. I had to make some adjustments on my bridge in block six.
It will be okay, I am sure. I love the Hawk Run Hollow designs.
I think I wouldn't frog anything either. There must be another solution, lol. You seem to be caught now by the HRH piece, absolutely motivated to finish it soon. Good luck with the rest of this wonderful design.
Woo-hoo - you're getting closer and closer to being done!! And I LOVE Sherlock!!!!
Your stitching will turn out great, I'm sure. I love Sherlock, too, and sleepy Hollow. But I can't do any stitching while watching them, I'd definitely miss more than a few counts! :D
Lol. I just realized I added one extra stitch in an ornie and decide to leave it in. If I don't point it out you'll never know!
Which Sherlock?
