Fluttering toward a finish!

This morning I managed to get out of bed a 1/2 hour early so I had time to stitch. Last night and this morning, my focus piece has been CHS The Gilded Cage. I am confident I'll be able to get this completed before the end of the month. In a way I will be sad to move onto something else because this has been a pleasure to stitch and I really love the colors. However there are tons of projects waiting to be stitched from my current stash and more on the way because I fell off the wagon in a big way over ABC Stitch Therapy's clearance sale. Have you checked it out? I warn you, it's dangerous!

Hello, I've come here to answer your question about the Plum Street Sampler birds. I used DMC Varigated 115.

It looks great! I've always loved this design and have it in my stash! I also get attached to projects that I'm working on. After feeling like I wanted to set aside Sampler Farm I look forward to putting in a few stitches in the evening. I think I am swearing off the computer this weekend so I can make some progress. And I had better not look at any clearance sales...well maybe a little peek...

The Gilded Cage looks beautiful. Is that for you or an exchange? Hope to get together and stitch soon....Nancy

A wonderful project. And you are getting nearer and nearer to finishing it. Getting absorbed by a project, that's what I love so much about stitching.
Congratulations on finishing your first block on CoHRH!

Hi, I have just finished this design. Pls visit my blog to see the finished pic. I changed some of the floss colours a little and used the brown border instead of the green, but like you I thoroughly enjoyed stitching this one. Yours is looking fab.

Your Guilded Cage looks fabulous. I've had that in my stash forever, and never pulled it out. I just love the rich colors in it! And yes, I checked out ABC's sale, and then quickly ran the other way. :)

This is absolutely stunning! I love the piece :o)

Sigh, I went to their site yesterday but thank goodness did not see anything that I 'really' needed ;o)
