My Busy Hands

I love the phrase on this BOAF sampler - "Busy Hands Make Happy Hearts". My heart is pretty happy with my progress on this piece. I'm really hoping to be able to finish it before the end of the year. There's still quite a bit to be completed but I'm thinking of taking only this piece with me for the Christmas holiday so I just might get it done if it's the only thing I have to work on.

If I can finish it before the 31st, it would be the third UFO that I started in 2004 and finally finished. I had one more large Goode Huswife piece that I started but I really disliked the fabric and how it was coming along so I cut it up and will restart the pattern someday on different fabric.

I really need to get this one, I love it, Patti :) ! You are coming along on it and it is looking fabulous!

I know what you mean about disliking fabric. I don't like the fabric that And They Sinned is being stitched on-I traded fabric and DMC to a good friend for her Linen and GAST's -as she didn't like the fabric and wanted to use DMc instead of overdyes on And They Sinned. I thought I would enjoy stitching it, especially as she had stitched a good portion of the top page, but I REALLY dislike the fabby and I am considering ditching it and beginning a new.

Again, just BEEutiful!

Patti - sure looks like you will have a BOAF Happy Dance by the end of the year. That is such a gorgeous sampler - you must be dying to get it up on your walls!!

Patti, I have always admired this sampler, and your piece is just beautiful. I am going to have to add it to my stash. You are on a tear, GF, 3 UFO's complete in 2005! I am carrying over all my WIPs into next year. I'm living through your happy dances!
