Back to stitching

Yesterday I actually picked up my cross stitch for the first time in over a week. I am back to working on the CHS Alphabet over one. As you can see from the photo, I'm up to F is for Farm. This one doesn't have a border like the rest do and I think it may have been one of the earliest designs. I really think it's cute and it's going really fast. I worked on it again this morning so maybe if I manage that the rest of the week, I can have it finished over the weekend.

It was so hard to go back to work today - after three days off, it's hard to get back into the swing of working again! And today was just gorgeous weatherwise - cooler and brilliantly sunny. It would be great if our whole summer stayed just like today!

Thank you to all who have taken the time to comment on my blog. I really appreciate it! I'm behind in posting but I have been reading! There are some gorgeous things underway - both knitted and stitched and it's really inspiring. Keep up the great work!

You are zipping right along with this--and it is even over one! I haven't been stitching lately as much as I want to either.

I love your CHS alphabet I seriously look at doing this myself after seeing it the last time you took a photo of it , but since it isn't available here I would have to order it over the internet and it would work out to be very expensive in NZ dollars ,never mind I look forward to seeing progress on yours.

Wonderful to see the alphabet again, Patti! Feels good to be stitching again, doesn't it, especially when your home looks so fantastic.

Great progress Patti! I didn't realise Farm didn't have a border until you mentioned it. I get to stitch on Peacock this weekend in my SAL with Nicki and I'm really looking forward to it!

It looks wonderful Patti :) I really like the fact that some of the letters are a bit different.

I'll be doing B this weekend and will think of you!
