I see that many are recapping all their stitching accomplishments. I don't really feel like I accomplished all that much in the way of finishes. I was able to complete one project on my 2013 WIPocolypse list which was Nora Corbett's Halloween Fairy.
The WIP project that got the most attention in 2013 was CHS Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow although I was unable to finish it during the year as I had really hoped. Here's what it looked like in January:
And as of yesterday. I was able to complete two blocks and 2/3rds of a 3rd. Given that there were 365 days in the year, it really feels like I should have completed much more when I look at the whole project. But there's only 3 and 1/3 blocks left to complete so I'm quite sure I will finish this thing in 2014. I'd better!
Next on the list was my HAED Storey Keeper and this doesn't show much visual progress either considering the number of stitches that go into completing each 10x10 square! I think this will turn out to be some kind of 10 year piece - if not longer! Here it was in January,
And where it was at 12.31.13
Poor Ann Sandles really got no attention for the year. I had to restart the piece and quite honestly I'm thinking of scrapping it all together. I think I should have ordered the original fabric because I'm not that jazzed with it how it looks on the fabric I found in my stash. This photo was from May and the one below from yesterday. Such a little bit of progress to show....
And the final project on the list was my CHS Alphabet. It's the same dismal story as with Ann Sandles. This is another project that's been linger way to long and it might be my focus after C@HRH. We'll see!
This was the photo when I pulled it out in February and where it stands now. Two and 1/4 blocks completed with a whole lot more left to go.
I added a 2014 tab and the current projects are carry overs from 2013 but I may edit it some more. I would really like to add some new projects this year and definitely do some dedicated Halloween stitching this year.
I hope your year is off to a great stitching start!

52 Weeks of Happy & WIPocolypse Update
I only have a few photos for my happy things this week so I thought I'd combine it with my WIPocolypse update because my progress on it makes me happy too!
I started a new knitting project recently that wasn't a sock and I finished the first part this week - a fingerless mitt. I also managed to start the 2nd one and I hope to get it finished quickly as the first one knit up surprisingly fast.
I also completed the week 3 stitching on Mary's Sampler. I am looking forward to what will be added when the next part is released tomorrow.
This is where it was for the September update photo and below is where it is currently.
And finally, my WIPocolypse update photo of Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow. I am working very hard to finish this by the end of the month but I'm considering switching to my PS Halloween piece because it's October and tis the season!

September WIPocolypse and TUSAL
I've really had a hard time finding time to sit down and create a post. Hectic work days and after hours meetings and events mean I'm exhausted when I get home and I just haven't had enough interest to fire up the computer. Hence, trying to catch up with a double post of my September TUSAL and a WIPocolypse project update.
I have only been working on Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow so that's what I will share. Here is where I left it last month I think:
And where it is currently:
I've made some great progress but I set it aside this week to finish the stitching on a Halloween exchange that needs to be mailed out on the 7th. I want to tackle the finishing with plenty of time to do a good job.
And here is the TUSAL jar as of the beginning of the month. Some of the threads were from my punch needle project but just ends.

Long past due Happy Dance
Yesterday, I finally finished square 7 from CHS Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow. Woohoo! And boohoo to blogger for refusing to upload correctly.
I'm afraid to look back to see when I started it but it took a really long time to finish. I am not a fan of the colors in the next block (the carolers) so I'm not sure if I will start that or go to block 9 and figure out what colors I want to use for the carolers. It's the lady who I'm not enamored with - I don't love the greens of her dress. I'm thinking blues but need to experiment a bit more before deciding.

May WIPocolypse Update
The only WIPocolypse piece that received attention in May was Anne Sandles. Here is what she looked like when I picked her up:
And where it is at this point. I was able to make a fair amount of progress on it.
I'm not sure if I will continue to work on this particular WIP or pick something else up. It's been quite a long time since I picked up CHS Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow and it's kind of been calling my name today.

Belated WIPocolypse Update for April
When I started this post last week, I was having problems getting pictures to load and had to leave it in draft mode. And then I kind of forgot about it so it's a bit later than expected.
My plan for April was to work a week on each of my four major WIPs and it went well for the most part with the exception of last week. I opted to take Anne Sandles with me on a work related trip but I never had a moment to pick up a needle.
I was supposed to pick up CHS Alphabets the last week but that never happened.
CHS Alphabet Progress - at the end of March
And where it was at the end of the first week of April. I'm not sure if I will pick this up again this month.
Next up was my HAED Story Keeper which got more attention than it's had in a while. Where I started
And at the end of the 2nd week. I am really pleased with the progress made.
And finally is an update on Anne Sandles. I didn't get a lot of time to work on this but any progress is good progress right? Where I picked up on this piece:

March WIPocolypse Update
Here is my slightly late WIPocolypse update for March. I only worked on my CHS Alphabet piece in March and I didn't make quite as much progress as I would have liked to but - I made progress!
Here is where I started at the beginning of the month:
And where I ended the month:
I finished up J, completed K and got about 1/2 way through L. I still haven't made up my mind if I will continue with working on this piece for April or switch to something new. The blocks don't take long and each is different so I'm not likely to get bored if I keep going. Since it's April 1, I guess I'd better make up my mind quickly!

New Month-New Focus
Thank you everyone for your nice comments about my finish. It feels so good to have that piece done. I really did enjoy working on it - even the braid.
With that project completed, I did a rummage through the various project bags stashed around my craft room to contemplate what to work on next. I did consider a new start and I may do that soon but when I opened the bag that contained my CHS alphabet charts I was once again captivated by the smallness of the over one and the bright colors. So guess what my focus will be for March?
and where I finished up last night. I hope to veg in front of the TV and watch some Law & Order SVU reruns and start on the block for K. I do love how these blocks look in over one. So cute!

February WIPocolypse Update
I am so close to finishing this piece I can barely put it down. My progress this month makes me VERY happy. I really hope to have a UFO dance soon - very soon! This is the only piece I worked on this month. Here is where I started at the beginning of the month:
And where I am as of about 6:30 this evening. I plan to try and get her finished up tonight if possible.
And I thought I would share some photos from our winter wonderland walk this morning. It was up in the 30s today so pretty much everything in the trees is gone now. I don't mind that at all. Unfortunately, there is likely more coming at the end of the week.
This is a picture looking up at the trees you see at the end of the street in the photo above.
Pretty but I've had enough of the white stuff already. I'm longing to see green grass again....

1st 2013 WIPocolypse Post
I had hoped to get a bit more stitched in my current block of Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow this weekend but I was paying attention to an exchange gift that's supposed to be mailed out on Feb. 1. I'm a bit behind...
Anyway, I made great progress this month on the only WIPocolypse project I worked on for any length of time. The photo above is where I was at the end of December and below is where I left off the last time I stitched on this piece.
I am thinking about switching WIPocolypse pieces for February but I'm making such good progress on this block, I'm not sure I should. I have a few more days to decide.
I did give one Sunday to my HAED piece so here are photos for that. Where I was at the end of December...
And after the UFO Sunday stitching I did at the beginning of the month....
I will be picking this up again on Sunday because it will be another 1st Sunday of the month already.

WIPocolypse Update
I'm pleased to be able to share some actual progress on two of my WIP pieces this time around. First up is my HAED Storey Keeper piece which I worked on for Sunday UFO stitching on the 1st. I completed two 10x10 blocks. I am always amazed at how those teeny-tiny over one stitches manage to form the picture. There are a ton more to go but I'm glad to have picked it up.
Next up is BBD's Winter Wonderland which I had a hard time putting down to take a picture. I was able to get quite a bit done since the last time I worked on it.

February WIPocolypse Update
Well, not as much progress as I'd like to be showing but here are the photos of what I've worked on since my last WIPocolypse update. I finished block 6 of C@HRH and started Block 7.
And Ann Sandels got a very tiny bit of attention. I'm actually thinking that I'm going to restart this piece. Crazy as that seems given what's been stitched so far, I'm not loving the 30 count fabric and how the stitching looks on it. It was either do it over one on 30 count or switch over to 40 count.
Tonight I dug through my stash and found a piece of 40ct R&R Iced Cappuccino that would work very nicely based on my floss toss. I just need to get over the time and thread that's already gone into this. If I do start it over, do you think it still counts as a WIPocolypse piece or a new start?
I hope you made more progress on your stitching since the last update!

January WIPocolypse Update
Despite only being the 9th day of the new year, I've gotten some pretty good stitching in on three different WIPs. First up is my HAED Story Keeper. I worked on this on January 1st and was able to complete the 5 stitch-wide strip I had started in December.
The next piece I worked on was my With Thy Needle & Thread's Anne Sandles. I would have more to show but the GAST Copper that came with my floss pack was really bright and it really looked out of place with the other colors. So I dug through my stash and came up with a Copper that is more in line with the other colors already in the piece. I hope to get back to this some time this week.
And finally, on Saturday while stitching with Barbara in Belfast, I worked on my C@HRH. I feel like this has been an endless block but I think another good hour or two of stitching and I will have it completed.
Not a bad start to my 2012 WIPocolypse plans. Hope you are pleased with your progress so far!
