Nicely Productive Weekend

Yeah - I finished F is for Farm - once step closer to accomplishing one of my summer stitching goals! I also started my first pair of socks for the Summer of Socks KAL. I love the yarn I'm working with - Socks That Rock in Pebble Beach.

The picture isn't that great - it's a combination of greens, turquoise, brown and tan. It is really soft and it will be hard to give up these socks but I'm earmarking them for a Christmas present. Now that it's in public, I have to follow through right?

Tonight I plan to make a start on The Shipping News by Annie Proulx so that I can also start one of my designated summer reads without feeling guilty. I have to have TSN finished in time to discuss it on the 28th.

Oh...the yarn is scumptious! They should make comfy socks for your tootsies!

Love your progress on the Alphabet sampler. It looks great!

Patty, your projects are great! I love the feeling of getting a good start on socks, also stitching so much. All that creativity in one weekend! What pattern are you using for your socks? What fabric are you using on the Alphabet sampler?
